OxyKnight® Watch FAQ


You can download the OxyKnight® Watch App from the Apple App Store, or Google Play Store. Please ensure you download the OxyKnight® Watch App as the SpiroLink® and CMI Health apps are not compatible with the OxyKnight® Watch.

The OxyKnight® Watch app generates sleep reports that provide information on sleep quality, oxygen level, pulse rate, oxygen desaturation index, and duration of sleep. Note, for the sleep report to be generated you must record data to the app for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Yes, the OxyKnight® Watch app is free.

Yes, the apps are compatible with tablets if the tablets operate off an Android or iOS operating system, and you can download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The app is not available for desktop.

Yes, you need a data connection or Wi-Fi connection for the device and app to function properly together.

You can use the OxyKnight® Watch without the app to measure your SpO2, pulse rate and ODI (Oxygen Desaturation Index). You can use the OxyKnight® Watch App without the watch to view previously recorded data, but you cannot record data to the OxyKnight® Watch app without the device. You can also find more specific information in the User Manual here.

You can use your phone while using the OxyKnight Watch® app, but you must keep the app open; therefore, using the phone to perform other task is not recommended for best results.

No, the OxyKnight Watch® device is only compatible with the OxyKnight Watch® app developed by Telomed, Inc. The OxyKnight Watch® app is only compatible with the CMI Health OxyKnight Watch® device.

You can share your results by selecting the record you want to share on the results screen in the app, and selecting the share icon in the upper left-hand corner of the app. You can then select the method you want to share the data.

OxyKnight® Watch is a smart pulse oximeter designed for overnight (continuous monitoring) use. The watch is a is a smart sleep oximetry monitor that seamlessly measures, organizes, and manages data in conjunction with our mobile app. Our pulse oximeter watch is extremely comfortable to wear and operates continuously without requiring the user to adjust settings throughout the night.

OxyKnight® Watch is designed for those 12 and older. While we are working on a children’s sensor, the current probe is one size fits all.

Please clean the surface of the device before using. Use cloth with alcohol to wipe the device first, then let air dry or wipe with a clean dry cloth.

Yes, you can set an alarm if your oxygen level drops below a certain threshold. This can be done through the OxyKnight® Watch app. To set a threshold for an alarm open the app, select the alarm tab, and set the threshold to the appropriate level (see our in-app alarm set up video).

The battery can last up to 24 hours on a fully charged battery.

No, your phone does not need to be unlocked once data has started recording to the app. You do need to leave the OxyKnight® Watch app open on your phone for data to be recorded to the app. But data will still be recorded to the app if the phone goes into sleep mode.

To set up an alarm threshold on the device, turn on the device, press the power button two short taps (less than on second for each tap), go to the relevant threshold you want to set by short tapping on the power button. Once the threshold you want to set is highlighted, long press the power button (more than one second) to highlight the number. Short tap the power button to change the number. Once the number is changed to the desired threshold, long press the power button. Short tap the power button until “Exit Setting” is highlighted. Long press the power button.


You can set an alarm by setting a threshold in the app. To set a threshold for an alarm open the app, select the alarm tab, and set the threshold to the appropriate level.


Currently, you cannot set up alerts for you family, but we are currently working on adding this feature.

Make sure the finger is placed properly in the probe. If you take your finger out the probe for more than 30 seconds the device will lose Bluetooth connection.

Please ensure the device is near the phone that is monitoring the device. If you move more than 10 feet from the device or to another room, the device may lose Bluetooth connection.

The app must stay open on your phone to maintain a Bluetooth connection.
